U.S. House Roll Call 111: Congressional disapproval, of the rule submitted by the EPA relating to “CA Motor Vehicle and Engine Pollution Control Standards; Heavy-Duty Vehicle and Engine Em Warranty and Maintenance Provisions; Advanced Clean Trucks; Zero Em Airport Shuttle; Zero-Em Power Train Cert.; Waiver of Preemption; Notice of Decision”
A bill is a proposal or measure. A roll call is a recorded decision on a particular question at a particular stage. One vote rarely describes the entire life of a bill.
A bill number needs its Congress or legislative session and measure type to identify it correctly. The same number can appear again in another session. Titles can also change. Use the official identifier and the linked publication to establish which text and stage of the measure the record concerns.
A recorded vote may concern passage, an amendment, a procedural motion or another question. The description of that question matters. A member’s choice on a procedural vote should not automatically be rewritten as support for or opposition to every provision in the underlying legislation.
